Car is now complete. £220 got us a Mercedes 300D with "sold for scrap" and some starting problems - i.e. didn't - we got a bargain.

Some new glow plugs and 2 packets of fuses later she now runs. Indicators have stopped working but we've got arms.
New fuel air and oil filters have given us at least another 10HP.
Paint done, ready to go. Just hope we make it to the start!
